After years of research, he developed a 33-step process to create a Hunza water analog formed into clusters, one of the smallest colloidal particles ever achieved. Dr. Flanagan finally succeeded in duplicating the unusual properties of Hunza glacial water, and could now bring its life-supporting qualities to the rest of the world.

Microclusters have a very high zeta potential (negative electrical charge). They are small enough to easily penetrate any cell membrane in the body. Zeta potential represents a basic law of nature. It plays a vital role in the health of all forms of plant and animal life. It is the force that maintains the discreteness of the trillions of cells that nourish body tissue. If zeta potential is low, nutrients are not as easily suspended for transportation to the cells and toxins are not as easily suspended for elimination. Microclusters, with their high zeta potential, can increase the absorption of nutrients and elimination of toxins by helping to maintain the proper polar attraction of negatively charged nutrients to the positively charged intracellular fluid. When these two electrical charges are in the appropriate balance, nutritional absorption and cellular metabolism are at optimum levels for health, energy and well being.

Crystal Energy also reduces the surface tension of drinking water. Tap water typically has a surface tension of 73 dynes. The water that surrounds our cells is approximately 45 dynes, therefore, the body has to work to lower the surface tension of our drinking water in order for nutrients to pass through cell walls. Crystal Energy expedites this process by lowering the surface tension of our drinking water to approximately 59 dynes, creating a more efficient solvent and wetting agent. It is the solvent nature of a liquid that enables it to perform its functions in the living system.

When we add Crystal Energy to our drinking water, we increase the rate of movement of water and nutrients across cell membranes by as much as 2.54 times. In fluid dynamics, if we increase the rate of flow of water by two times, the water can carry 64 times as much material. If the speed doubles again it increases another 64 times. This principle explains why floods and Tsunamis are so destructive.

Even at cellular distances, the flow of water by 2.5 times means we can transport over 100X as much nutrients into the cells and toxins out of the body for elimination. Apply this to the lymphatic system and we have the same phenomena.

Crystal Energy drops contain silica-based nano-spheres that average 2-3 nanometers in diameter. They have an electric charge (zeta potential) of -140 mv (millivolts). That may not seem like much, but in physics charge intensity is based on charge for a given radius of curvature. The magnitude of the field is inversely proportional to the radius of curvature.

At 3 nm diameter spheres, the magnitude of the electric fields around these particles is equivalent to 12 million volts per meter. One drop of Crystal Energy contains trillions of these particles. When added to one ounce of water, the electric charge density breaks the water clusters into smaller clusters so completely that the water has the same surface tension as boiling water. In addition, the equally charged particles distribute themselves in such a way that they are within 100 nanometers of each other. Water molecules are polar and align themselves with the nano-spheres. This process is called 'epitaxy' where crystals of one material grow on the highly charged substrate of another material, duplicating the substrate structure.
