The Babylonian money system was established in Yemen and existed throughout the Canaanite Empire long before the rise of the Judean state that we think of as peopled by the “Jews”. The New Testament confirms it's existence with the story of Jesus going after the Babylonian money changers in the temple.
But there were no Jews; the people that lived there were not Jews. Jews were invented in 1080 A.D. or so by the Khazarians, and tied back to 4197 B.C.E. with a fabricated history. The term Jew is said to be a contraction for Judean. It is a modern artifact. It does not exist in the Torah or the early versions of the Bible. There is absolutely NO reference to Jews in the Bible. The Torah itself is all about the El and how to deal with invading space aliens; it makes absolutely NO reference to a people known as the Jews.
Emperor Constantine codified and solidified the earliest versions of the modern Bible in 325 A.D. He called together two conferences at Nicaea where about 1200 representatives of the more than 1200 Christians conflicting sects at the time showed up. There Constantine imposed upon all Christians with their various versions of the New Testament a uniform consolidated dogma. Then he created the Roman Catholic Church so that he could control them.
There was widespread protest among the Christian sects about whether or not to include the Old Testament as part of the Bible. Constantine decided to include it to give the new Bible greater historical perspective. Many of the leaders opposed to its inclusion were assassinated by the Romans, mysteriously of course.
