Begin the Ascension Process Now

Part of Ascension involves giving up your current mind and body complex as it now stands in the third dimension. One of the things that we want you to be aware of is that the process of giving up things is merely practice for the much larger renunciation that you will have to make.

The form that you will transform into will have a remnant of your physical consciousness, but the mind is largely a biological phenomenon. And thus, we can quite accurately say that there is definitely a difference between the mind that you think you have, and the mind that is truly yours on the astral level. There is quite a surprise at the time of Ascension or death at the fact that this hidden subconscious mind is seen for the first time.

The mind of your consciousness does indeed have a great deal to do with the ephemeral nature of neural circuitry — serotonin, endorphins and all the other neurotransmitters that work together to collectively form the giant, thinking mind that you have. This mind is largely a creation of the physical body, in many respects.

What you may not realize is that the deeper mind informs this mind of all that it does. It is the deeper mind that you will become — when you are capable of shedding this old skin. It is the deeper mind that has a much better facility for expressing your true talents and abilities in ways that you may never have used them in your conscious, day-to-day existence.

For example, your mind is like the letter A — and the work that you have done with it would be the equivalent of having this one letter only, and then trying to write poetry. Now imagine that when your deeper mind is returned to you, you then regain full facility of the alphabet — A through Z. You begin to learn that by putting these letters together in different combinations, you can form words. And then, by putting these words together in different combinations, you can form poetry, prose, literature, et cetera.

The point that we are trying to get at is this - there are only so many ways for you to achieve the true enlightenment that leads to Ascension. Shall we say, the way is very much paved. There are not so many aspects of this that are difficult to see or that are veiled. What we are basically asking you to do, when you are initiating yourself into the higher levels, is to become more and more of a perfected being within yourself.

One of the most simple aspects of your personal transformation, which is at the same time the most extraordinarily difficult, is the full ability to allow that which is desired by the Spirit to override that which is desired by the body — within the playing field of the mind. The mind acts as a conduit for universal creative forces. It must first convince itself of the reality of these propositions. And then, with the appropriate timing and adjustments, it can go in and modify its pre-existing beliefs and habits.

Once this is done, it then must address directly the cravings of the body — as they are expressed in different forms. These cravings include a blood lust, or a thirst for violence; it also involves a sexual appetite and hunger that is not easily satiated. Lastly, it involves an appetite for those foods and products that would be quite pleasing to taste — even as they are quite devastating to the function of the physical body. We really need you to begin thinking about this more seriously.

Each renunciation brings you closer to Ascension. Each time in the here and now that you are willing to let go of something that you no longer need, even if a part of you likes it very much, you are intimately preparing for the final renunciation of your third-dimensional existence.

We are attempting to discuss the psychology behind Ascension, so that you can fully grasp what it is that we are talking about. We always talk about this Ascension as being only Love and Light. And we will be realists with you today in expecting that you will have a greater understanding of the sacrifices that you must make as well.

When the true moment comes, history has it that there can be a lot of hesitation at the gate. Indeed, what you are going to be doing is completely turning your back on the existence that you have had up until this point. You may or may not know at the critical moment whether all those who you know are going to ascend with you or not. And this is an attachment that you must also realize as being unnecessary. Yes, you may have a family. Yes, you may have children and the like. Until you at least begin to make a choice in the direction of Ascension, you will not have the availability of mind to fully develop a knowledge of whether these otherselves will be also going with you or not.

If you haven’t planned for the feeling of sadness and renunciation that you will get at this moment, then you are not fully ready for Ascension yet. You need to become more fully concerned about whether you have rehearsed this portion of the experience into your conscious mind’s makeup. We do find that when all is said and done, and the appropriate steps have been taken, it is quite a joyous circumstance.

However, there are many of those who are reading these readings who still indulge in many very simple habits that they are unwilling to give up. When you are capable of consciously denying yourself things you might still indulge in you are indeed allowing the spiritual side to Ascend.

Your Ascension is not simply an end product — it is a step-by-step process. And thus, any one of you who is carelessly indulging is experiencing a very literal form of Ascension in that moment wherein the final decision to quit is then made paramount. Should you continue to not want to quit, you are continuing to exist in mediocrity — in a state where you are not allowing the spiritual side to win over the animal side.

If you are to participate in the Ascension, you will discover very quickly after going through this experience that the soul who you are is quite a surprise. It will be bursting with creativity and vitality that you never knew you had. And it will have many surprising personality traits that were only marginally developed in your waking consciousness. This soul also will recognize for the first time how unified it is with all the other souls in the Creation. And it is this teaching that approaches the greatest level of compassion and Oneness.

When we ask you to overcome simple habit patterns, we are also asking you to overcome the self-indulgence as a proxy server for all of humanity. When you are capable of doing this yourself on an individual level, you are raising the consciousness of humanity — so that it does not need to have these experiences any longer.

As consciousness raises, there are then the more harmonious circumstances that would prohibit there from being any heinous crimes. In the dimension of the fourth, for a positive planet such as that which Earth is becoming, it is not possible for any entity to exist in society who would be capable of doing such heinous things. Within the context of Planet Earth, these experiences are soon to become a thing of the past.

Do you seek in the here and now to cling to your self-indulgences? Or do you choose in the here and now to begin your Ascension process? Do you choose to transcend those aspects of your personality that would choose to remain as a brute, as an animal — as firmly entrenched in the third density, with no hope or desire of going any further?

You must realize that if you want to put on the socks to wear the shoes for the fourth density, you cannot have them filled with holes from the moths that have eaten them. You cannot allow yourself to hold onto those things that you know are not in your best interest, as ultimately this determines your polarity.

The process of Ascension will be a process of letting go of the third-dimensional Earth. In the greater sense, we can tell you that you will have to let go of it anyway. And thus, the choice has already been made for you.

Realize that the final stage of the Ascension process is another form of death. Death is fundamentally the giving up of something that you have to go into something that you do not yet know.

We do have great compassion for those who have suffered so much that they are incapable of seeing the higher wisdom in taking the choice of renunciation. Your greater process now is to achieve the totality of being that comes with making higher-level choices. We want you to recognize how important every decision that you make in your life is right now. Every action you take is being written on the everlasting skein of space and time — for all future generations to see.

You can never take back the freewill decisions that you make right now — as they are your final statements on this Earth before the Moment itself arrives. The best thing that you can do is to transcend self-indulgence — and these destructive habit patterns within yourself.

You must be willing to treat yourself to levels of perfection that you have never before attained. This will help you to achieve the true union with the Source that we have been striving for you to have for so long. This is a process that you can take with you all the way to the bank — as it is your own process of transcension. And nothing can be more important than that.
