Sound of Freedom

 

We like to think that we have arrived at the most advanced moment of civilizational development in the history of the world. But at this moment in time there are more human slaves on the planet than ever before. Shocked? Consider that most of those slaves are children.

It is disturbing to imagine how this has even happened in our modern era.  Most people cannot fully comprehend what that might be like. Yet for a large percentage of people living on planet Earth, that is their day-to-day, moment-to-moment existence. It is incomprehensible.

Decent people don't talk about such things – because it is just too gruesome. But we have to have this conversation. It is not just an American conversation... or a European conversation... or even a Christian, Jewish, Muslim, or Buddhist conversation... it is a conversation for all of humanity to become engaged in. If you are a human, you cannot allow this to take place on our planet.

The true-to-life story in the soon-to-be-released movie Sound of Freedom will help all of us get an understanding of how it happens, who it happens to, and what happens within a context that is still acceptable for public viewing and digestion. It is an impossibly difficult subject to address in a manner that people can absorb, think about, understand, and draw conclusions on what we must do to bring this to an end.

Everyone needs to see this movie when it is released. It's purpose is not to traumatize, but to get all of us engaged and involved. Once this information is out in the open, there may be increased opportunities to have conversations to effect immediate solutions. People will no longer be able to turn their heads in denial.

The most compelling line in the movie, perhaps, is “God's children are not for sale”. We can no longer allow this to continue in our world, hidden or otherwise. We can no longer allow people to be destroyed by this - both those on the receiving end and the purveyors of it are in the grip of some horrific satanic notion. It must be brought to an end. We are the ones to do God's work and end this.
