On Earth as it is in Heaven

The Church teaches that there is a Heaven and an Earth. If one is “good” on Earth, rewards await in Heaven. But this is not what is written in the Bible - there is no spiritual world separate from the material world. Rather, what appears as our world is the Spirit made visible, or consciousness expressed in material form . It is the Word made flesh.

This understanding has been purposefully distorted by Western religion, which promotes a false notion of two separated worlds – one an eternal heavenly kingdom beyond the physical world and the other a transitory material world of mortal existence. But why would the Church mislead us? A look back at the times that followed Jesus' life on Earth helps us understand why we have not been told the truth.

The Roman Empire at the time was determined to conquer the world. Like the powers that be in the world today (their modern counterparts), the Romans desired to have One World Order with one ruler who was the most powerful human on Earth, with an elite upper class carrying out the administration of its tyrannical rule, enslaving the masses at a cost of their freedom. The Roman Legions were sent far and wide to expand the Empire and bring people into line, but increasingly it was at formidable expense. It was gradually decided that using the armies to control the people was too costly. There needed to be another way to subvert the power of the people. This is when it was decided that the best way to oppress the people into complete servitude and acceptance of the Empire's will was to break the will of the citizenry. A devious plan was implemented that would continue to disenfranchise millions of people for nearly two thousand years – create a Roman God that was the supreme ruler incarnate. All that was necessary was an existing belief system that could be reworked to create a state Re-legion. The Romans settled upon a story that was already at the heart of god-worshipping people throughout their empire. Christianity was their ultimate choice. The Romans chose 27 of 70 holy books of the early Christian traadition and edited them at two Councils of Nicea to craft a Bible to suit their narrative of taking over the world and controlling the freedom (power) of all of the people. Thus was born instruments of the Roman Empire - the Roman Catholic Church and the Vatican - to enforce their desire for a New World Order. And their great success continues to this day.

So how do we take back our power? Let's go back to the words of the Gnostic writer John 1:1 and 1:14 and read the scripture literally.

“In the beginning was the Word,

and the Word was with God,

and the Word was God

...and the Word was made flesh.”

Perhaps the most profound utterance ever heard from human lips is that we are the Word made flesh. We are God made flesh. We are God-Men and God-Women. We are already truly Divine and One with the mind and heart of the Creator. Wherever God is, there is Heaven. Wherever we find ourselves, there is Heaven. Earth is Heaven. Heaven is Earth. The rewards for being good are the gifts that everywhere surround us. All we really must do is realize this truth that has been denied us and feel the unequivocal Love in the here and now. BE the Divinity that dwells within. Controlled no more. Slaves no more.
