The Truth about Nuclear Bombs

Richard Fineman was one of the primary designers of Oppenheimer's nuclear bomb. In Fineman's many books he goes to great lengths to lend understanding to the physical reality that nuclear weapons have nothing to do with the disruption of nuclear forces. We do not deal with ionizing radiation that leaks from radioactive materials in nuclear weapons. As a physicist, Fineman explains that what is really going on is that we are separating an electric charge... actually rupturing the charge between electrons and the rest of the atom at an electrical level. It has nothing to do with nuclear forces at all. All of our nuclear weapons are in reality electric bombs.
