Coming Full Circle on Universal Consciousness

A growing number of scientists and mathematicians are beginning to advance the notion that our entire universe may be conscious. A new theory called Integrated Information Theory (IIT), employing a model of thinking which attempts to quantify and measure consciousness, may be the beginning of a new scientific revolution in Western thinking.

But IIT is still controversial in most circles because when applied to things thought to be non-living like machines, subatomic particles or the universe at large, the theory claims that they too experience consciousness... and if they are conscious, they must be alive.

The idea of a fully-conscious universe may seem new in Western mainstream public science, but it has been around for a long time. For example, it's been viewed as a fact for thousands of years by spiritual masters in the East. Jesus, as well, was very much aware of this and taught it to his inner circle.

If Jesus walked among us today he would clearly distance himself from what the official propaganda of Western Churchianity has claimed him to have been, thought, and taught. The Bible, as it currently exists in public prints, has been persistently edited, glossed, and redacted for the purposes of elite mind control. Its modern text is deliberately untrue or silent at almost all important points concerning Jesus' life, mission, and teaching. And on certain core topics it is the exact opposite of the truth.

Between the ages of 24 and 27, Jesus spent three years traveling to and from India, Kashmir, and Tibet as part of spiritual studies which preceded his public ministry back in the Palestine area. In those Eastern mountain retreats, two thousand years ago, the idea of the consciousness of the entire universe was commonplace in the yogic schools, and had been for centuries.

When he walked among us Jesus referred to the entity we moderns call 'God' as Source, All That Is, Higher Mind, Divine Nature. If God is, in fact, All That Is and Higher Mind as Jesus proclaimed, that must include the whole multiverse. And the whole multiverse must therefore be conscious. There can be nothing outside All That Is.

It is wonderful to see the original teachings of Jesus seeing the light of day once again through the workings of modern mathematics and quantum physics.
