Cronus 5: Contact on Mars

 

The following extract is from an interview with Richard Doty, retired Air Force Office of Special Investigations specialist, by MUFON Field Investigator Josh Golembeske:

Project MINOT is a code name for the Managed Integrated Navigational Off-Planet Transport program. It pertains to a space craft line named Cronus that we created with the assistance of an extraterrestrial from a civilization originating in the Pleiades star system, with the exclusive objective of traveling outside our solar system. When it first began in 1977, the United States Space Command with help from NASA was involved in developing and planning this. DARPA, in turn, arranged U.S. contractors to build the craft.

Cronus has been successfully used by the U.S. Space Command over the past fifty years on many, many clandestine classified missions, outside the public purview. Richard Doty is not a whistle-blower. On the contrary, he has been tasked with the responsibility of beginning official disclosure of previously classified interstellar space projects to the general public.

In 2007, Cronus 5 flew to Mars on a mission for the U.S. Secret Space Program. It's mission primarily was to determine why, in the past, we lost spacecraft on the surface of Mars? One of the huge questions that it sought to answer was “Is there an alien presence on Mars?” The hypothesis was that we may be losing craft because of alien interference.

In the 1960's the Soviets sent up a number of craft to Mars. None of them made it. The U.S. sent up multiple Mariner probes, most of which also failed. We eventually were successful with Viking 1 and Viking 2 for the most part, but still we ran into explainable problems once we landed there. Some problems were technological, but some seemed to imply Martian interference of some nature.

It is known that at some point in our solar system's history, millions of years ago, the planet Mars had a resident population. It had water and a viable atmosphere. Are there remnants of that civilization still living on Mars? Do they live on the surface or underground? Or is Mars occupied by one or more ET races that either live there or use the planet as a staging outpost? Among many other inquiries, getting answers was a big part of the Cronus mission in 2007.

Cronus 5 with a crew of 16 astronauts and two Sparrow reconnaissance crafts was launched from Area 51 before using a portal just outside Earth's atmosphere to arrive in orbit around Mars a short time later. Upon arrival the first thing they wanted to do was check the conditions of Viking 1 and Viking 2 and determine why they can no longer be contacted.

Viking 1 and 2 were launched in 1976 to explore the surface of Mars. Each was successful. Viking 1 sent back data and images for about a year and a half; Viking 2 lasted about two years before all contact ceased for no known reason, even though both crafts had sufficient power to continue communicating with Earth for 5 to 7 years.

During their brief time on Mars, each sent back a continuous stream of data and images. It is an accepted fact that a lot of the photography showed images of things NASA did not want the public to know about. In viewing images that have been released to the public, it is obvious that the degree of Photo-shopping is considerable. Among the things NASA was hiding was plenty of structures and moving ET surface vehicles, like ATV's, proving beyond a doubt that there is activity on Mars.

Sparrow 1 and 2, each with a crew of two astronauts, were launched to check these two Vikings, which were located about 4000 miles apart on the Martian surface. When the two teams of astronauts in full gear got out to check both Viking spacecrafts, their first discovery was that all of the electronics were removed. By who? The only answer is by ET's.

Cronus 5 itself landed on the surface, whereupon they immediately found many structures on the surface with ramps going underground. One of the objectives of the mission was to investigate consistent signals coming from a location on Mars designated as Tempe Terra. This particular frequency band of the signals was not something we use here on Earth.

Two astronauts aboard Cronus 5 were dispatched to follow one of the launch ramps hundreds of meters deep below the surface where they discovered an enormous facility with numerous rooms and ports extending to the surface. They also found two huge oval-shaped ET crafts. Since their directive was non-confrontational in the event contact was made with ET's, their investigations were purposefully held to a limit. There was no backup, so serious confrontation was to be avoided at all costs.

They found a lit-up control room manned by robotic entities with their hands embedded into the control panels. While it appeared that the astronauts were noticed, the robots continued their tasks as if it didn't matter. The conclusion drawn was that this facility was some sort of space port with robotic operational control, perhaps used now and then by ET's.

One of the Sparrows was dispatched to investigate the source of the mysterious signal after visiting Viking and recon that area. The two astronauts got out and found a meter-square box without an antenna emitting the mysterious signal. After retrieving the box and stowing it aboard the Sparrow, these astronauts saw a surface vehicle coming toward them, operated by two entities. The ET ATV circled them first before the two entities got out and began approaching the two astronauts. They were bipedal, dressed in a space suit and reflective helmet. As they got closer the two astronauts put their hands up to signal to the ET's to stop. After an extended exchange of attempted communication without success the astronauts drew the conclusion that they, the non-human intelligences, were telling them to leave. The astronauts did not feel any hostile intent, but they exited the encounter without further confrontation and went on to explore another vast underground facility that had huge suspended beachball-type structures.

The astronauts explored the area for awhile before deciding to exit, upon which they discovered the entrance was closed and sealed. When it opened a large oval-shaped craft flew in. While it would have been difficult to miss the astronauts and the Sparrow, the UFO did not give them any attention. The astronauts quickly departed and flew back to Cronus 5.

Cronus 5 returned to Earth without incident and brought back many alien artifacts, including part of a robotic entity. Based upon an examination of items brought back from Mars, it was determined that more than one species of ET is engaged in activity there. We don't know if they inhabit the planet or just visit.
